Boulder County uses a video visitation system that offers both on-site and remote options for families and friends. All in-person visitation at the Boulder County Jail has been suspended until further notice, meaning all visits must be conducted remotely for now. Video visitation can be scheduled through Combined Public Communications by calling 1-877-998-5678, and customer service for friends and family is available at 1-866-340-7879. During this temporary suspension, video visits cost just $0.05 per minute, but rates will return to $0.20 per minute once on-site visitation resumes.

Visitors must pre-register online and follow the scheduling instruction guide – selecting “Boulder County Jail, CO” and choosing either remote or on-site video options. Professional legal visits with attorneys are still permitted at this time.

Remote Visitation

Remote Visitation allows you to visit your loved one from the comfort of your own home. If you have a computer with a functional webcam and high-speed internet you have the opportunity to visit them as much as you want as long as you schedule your visit a head of time and within the appropriate hours.

For this option you will be charged a fee for each visit and you must first be approved in order to schedule your visit.
